i need to travel from virginia (arlington) to fort launderdale is it possible by train? how is that and from where in arlington? how long and how much does it cost i m a visitor to usa thnx

You can take Amtrak from Alexandria VA (station is at 110 Callahan Drive) to Fort Lauderdale. It takes 22 to 25 hours and costs $159 (you may be able to get a lower rate if you book ahead).

What you would to is take the Amtrak Silver Star (#91) from Alexandria which you would have to find a way to get to the train station, and that would take you directly to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The cost is $159 and it takes 25 hours. Your train would depart at 3:25 PM the first day and you would arrive at 5:25 the second day. Good Luck!
