About What's the weather typically like in a Northern Virginia October

What's the weather typically like in a Northern Virginia October?
I'm traveling to Arlington, VA in the Fall and would like to know what to expect of it. I've been told that it can snow in the Fall up there, but I"m not sure! So please give me as much info as possible

It is extremely unlikely to snow in November. Even in December, snow is usually a fluke. There is a little more rain, and temps can get below freezing, especially at night, but it's actually a little early to pull out winter coats.

It can, but rarely does. It's more likely to just rain. Snow doesn't happen as often as it should. I live in Southern Pennsylvania, and I've been to Virginia a few times. Their weather is similar to ours -- can be cold and brisk, can be rather warm... it depends if there is a warm or cold front coming through, etc. But most of the time, it's going to be a bit cool and calm. However sometimes it can be be in the 40s. It's a typical fall feeling weather
